Thanks to its durable performance and longevity, Dermizax is the ideal choice for anyone seeking reliable weather protection, maximum comfort, and sustainability. That’s why we rely on Dermizax® from Toray, Japan's leading textile manufacturer.
In contrast to porous membranes that rely on microscopic pores, Dermizax has a poreless structure and is made from a hydrophilic (water-loving) plastic that actively pulls moisture away from the body. Afterwards, this moisture is drawn out by the cold and dry air. The lower the temperature and the lower the humidity, the faster sweat is transported away, providing a dry and comfortable wearing experience, even during intense activity.

Significantly more elastic: Dermizax is a flexible 4-way stretch membrane. This provides noticeably more freedom of movement – perfect for freeriding and ski touring.
- Very high breathability: Dermizax becomes even more breathable during physical exertion. Ideal for sweat-inducing ascents.
- Absolutely waterproof: With over 20,000 mm of water column, it reliably protects even during heavy snowfall or wet powder snow.
- Easy care: Regular detergent is sufficient, the membrane cannot clog. Less effort, longer full function. Because the membrane has no pores, it does not clog with conventional detergent.
- No clogging: from sweat salts or dirt so that the function remains fully intact even after many trips.
- Sustainability & Care: The membrane is made of polyurethane (PU), is 100% recyclable, and has a positive environmental balance. Unlike porous PTFE-based membranes, no harmful waste products are generated during its production.
