For example, our merino wool products, including hats, are made from mulesing-free wool to ensure the well-being of the animals during sourcing. Merino wool is a renewable, biodegradable material that provides exceptional temperature regulation, breathability, and natural odor resistance. Additionally, our beanies, merino base layers, and cotton T-shirts are produced in Europe, highlighting our commitment to supporting local manufacturing and reducing transportation impact.

Penguin Powderwear is primarily manufactured in Vietnam, in carefully selected partner facilities that meet the highest quality standards. We place great value on personal relationships with our partners. As a Swiss freeride brand, we know exactly what matters in freeride apparel. This allows us to communicate our requirements directly to the people who make our products. We know all our producers personally and travel to Vietnam annually to review the production process and working conditions on-site. Vietnam is renowned for its exceptional quality standards and expertise in producing high-performance outdoor clothing.

To protect the environment, we ask that you plan your orders carefully. Shipping and potential returns consume a lot of energy and resources. Therefore, we kindly ask you to cover the cost of any returns. You can, however, always arrange an appointment outside our opening hours to try on items in person at your convenience. This way, we can work together to reduce waste and protect the environment.
