With the experienced guides from Avalanche Courses Arosa, we were out as a team — relaxed, attentive, and with plenty of expertise. In two groups, but with a shared goal: building safety, finding flow, and learning from one another. Whether taking first steps in the powder or deepening decision-making skills in alpine terrain.
Above all, we discussed, observed, questioned — and laughed. That’s exactly what makes the difference: learning in the terrain, genuine togetherness, and the good feeling of being out there together.
To wrap things up, we let the day wind down where powder vibes meet pure coziness: over a well-earned drink at Bar e Pizzeria Gutschi. New connections, familiar faces, plenty of stories and the clear realization that good times don’t need fresh snowfall. They’re created by the people who share them.
A huge thank-you to Lawinenkurse Arosa and Urban Engel Perspectiva: five extra uphill laps, full throttle on the descents and stunning photos captured along the way. Thanks to all the powder people for being there, exchanging ideas, and connecting. Until the next shared adventure outdoors.
