Accommodation

We will set up our base camp near Lyngseidet (about 2½ hours from Tromsø). The accommodation is ideally located, with direct views of the sea. The village of Lyngseidet, as well as our cabin, have everything we need.

Wi-Fi and a washing machine are available. The fully equipped kitchen allows us to cook for ourselves.

Orientation

Wonderful ski touring destinations await right on our doorstep. If conditions and weather around Lyngseidet are not optimal, we’ll transfer by ferry to the western fjord side. There, a good dozen peaks await us. The starting points are almost always at sea level or just above. Most tours are comparable in length to easy to moderate tours in the Alps. Often, it’s possible to ski all the way down to the sea. The rule then is: don’t stop until it tastes salty!
